Happy Hour with Howard Hanna

Happy Hour with Howard Hanna

Please join us for a special event open to ALL Kingspoint residents and prospective residents on Oct 23rd from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the KP Clubhouse. Hosted by real estate agent Pernille Carter, we will enjoy light refreshments and drinks as we discuss the benefits of KP Club membership, the difference between Club membership and a traditional HOA, Club amenities, and more. Pernille has sold many homes in our neighborhood and knows the value Club membership brings to the table when selling and buying a home in Kingspoint. Club officers will also be in attendance to answer any questions you may have about joining. Current members, we invite you to join us too in fellowship and fun to share what you love about being a KP member!

Joining the Kingspoint Club means more than a fun filled summer at the pool — it’s an investment in shared community space that we hope will bring joy to residents for years to come. We’re excited about the opportunity to share how you can be a part of the Club’s future. We hope to see you there!

Let's Club the Creek!

Let's Club the Creek!

This will be the last Club the Creek event for the year.

Boaters (and NON-BOATERS alike), want to hangout on the DECK of the Clubhouse AFTER we are done Clubbing the Creek to enjoy the beautiful views as well as each other's company a little bit longer this month? I will aim to exit the creek and head up to the deck around 3:30 pm.

Non-Boaters are welcome to arrive earlier than me to enjoy the deck and the views throughout the afternoon. Please know that the restrooms will not be available until after I arrive at 3:30 to unlock the Clubhouse. I would like to remind all participating members to be courteous and to tidy up after themselves. Please enjoy the Club's open spaces, but be sure to leave no trash behind!

Let's enjoy the beautiful views as well as each other's company a little bit longer this month! BYOB and a non-perishable snack to share (since we will be on the creek for a couple of hours before).  FYI: If the Clubhouse rents between now and our event, we will make plans to meet at another location after we finish Clubbing the Creek.

Lecture - Reviving A Revival: Modernizing Colonial Revival Homes In Williamsburg, Virginia

Bryn Ghio studied 17 Colonial Revival houses in the our neighborhood and her findings reveal the lived experience of residents and their vernacular homes. She will explore the questions of how and why residents design and renovate their homes. She also addresses the issue of decolonizing Colonial architecture and design, which feeds the modern interpretation of Colonial design and creates a feedback loop.

We'll enjoy the presentation as well as refreshments. The refreshments will be served at 7pm with the lecture beginning as soon as everyone is settled.

Coffee Break Mondays

All resident Club members are invited to our work from home neighborhood coffee break.

Define "work from home" however you wish; retired with house or yard work, stay at home parent, employed outside the home with home office, work out of the home but flexible schedule finds you at home during traditional work hours etc.

The details: Non-holiday Mondays from 10am to noon starting March 18th. We are starting simple. BYOC/T (bring your own coffee/tea) and pop in for a break. Head back home after a short break or bring your laptop and work from the clubhouse until noon. The club house will be open from 10am to noon because we know people have different schedules and we are trying to accommodate as many folks as we can while also keeping this manageable for those of us that can't take more than a 30 minute break. Bringing your own coffee/tea means that we won't have to worry about any expense or clean up (since we have to get back to work!). We will be locking up the Club House at noon.
