Dear Kingspoint Club Members,
Happy Summertime! Summer, swim team and the heat and humidity have arrived. I hope everyone is taking advantage of the pool. If not already, there should be an announcement soon about water aerobics, which I hope people will take advantage of.
I also hope you have noticed the various improvements to the pool facilities - I wanted to thank Mike and his group of volunteers who have been working tirelessly to improve and maintain our facilities. Their efforts are helping keep our pool and surroundings in great shape for all of our use. Please keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities to help out. These efforts help keep our dues lower and help keep our facilities safe and running.
We have new members joining and I hope you welcome them to the neighborhood and the club! We have swim meets and parties coming up - come down and meet your neighbors, take a break and enjoy your summer! Thanks again for all you do to make our neighborhood great and I hope to see you poolside.

Events & Social Gatherings
July 4, Fourth of July Picnic, 1-4 PM: All Club members, including summer pass holders, are invited to join us for our annual 4th of July Picnic. We are looking forward to an afternoon of delicious food, fun, and great company as we celebrate Independence Day together.
This year’s menu highlight will be fried chicken (RSVP here for fried chicken!), and we ask that you RSVP above so we can order the right amount. Lemonade will be provided, and beer and wine will be available for a small donation. We also ask for a minimum $15 donation per family to help cover the cost of food and beverages.
As always, please bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share with the community.
If your last name begins with A–M, please bring a dessert.
If your last name begins with N–Z, please bring a side dish.

July 18 - Club the Creek, 1:00 PM: Join us on the water in your creek-worthy vessels. Paddle alongside like-minded members and take in the beauty that is College Creek. No boat, no problem! Join us during the event and afterwards on the deck of the clubhouse–the views here are just as stunning!
Social Events: The Club is inviting our members to take the lead and bring their Social Event ideas to life! We thank everyone for making the Club a wonderful place to gather, connect, and celebrate! Pool & Swim Team News
Pool Hours can be found on the club website and a printable calendar can be found HERE. (note: this version was revised last month to fix a typo. On Friday, the pool is monitored by pool attendants, not life guards. We apologize for the error)

Please remember that the rules during attendant hours and lifeguard hours are the same. We ask that for the safety of all residents that parents/guardians remember to enforce those rules when supervising their children. For example, when swimming in the diving well/deep end, if the diving board is being used, please make sure that all other individuals are on the wall. If people are playing crosspool or something similar or swimming across/in the deep end, the board should not be used.
We would like to clarify that it is adult swim only in Lane 6 during evening swim team practice.
Water Aerobics Class started July 2nd, Thursday: We have a new water aerobics instructor and she has started this Thursday, July 2 at 10 am. Classes will be twice a week , Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 -11. It's free and will be a lot of fun! Come on down, get a little cardio in and enjoy the pool (plus it will be before the normal opening time so you should have the pool to yourselves and be able to get your workout before the crowds appear!
Summer Pass Holders: We would love to welcome Friends of Kingspoint (non-residents) back to the Kingspoint Club as a 2026 Summer Pass Holder! It is that time of the year again when Friends of Kingspoint may begin thinking about joining the Kingspoint Club for the 2026 Summer Season. The Kingspoint Club would love to welcome them and their families back to the Kingspoint Pool this summer.
We have two ways for Friends of Kingspoint to join the Kingspoint Pool as Summer Pass Holders this year.
They can print and fill out the Summer Pass Holder form and mail it in with their payment to the Club.
They can join online by visiting the Membership Page of the Kingspoint Club website and click on "Join as a Summer Pass Holder" at the bottom of the page. Click on"Summer Pass Holders" to join online today.
Spread the word! We look forward to seeing our Summer Pass Holders at the Club this summer!
Pool guests: Guests must be accompanied by a member. There is a $5 fee per person for local guests (WJCC and Upper York County residents). There is no charge for out-of-town guests or grandchildren. Kingspoint residents must be club members to be at the pool. If you live in Kingspoint and you have not paid for pool membership, then you cannot be a guest of a member. You can pay for a daily guest pass online ahead of time by clicking this link (https://www.kingspointclub.org/store/p/pool-guest-daily-pass), scanning the QR code at the attendant’s table or with cash in the black money box at the table as well.
Kingspoint Dolphins Swim Team updates:
The Dolphin swimmers are halfway through the regular season with three swim meets under their “fins” (with two wins!) and three meets left to go during the month of July. Our final home meet is on Monday, July 13 against the Stonehouse Splash. We invite you to stroll on over to see the action, cheer on the team, and purchase concessions (burgers, hot dogs, chips, candy, drinks for sale; cash or Venmo). The meet starts at 6pm.

Facilities Updates & Volunteer Opportunities
Recent Updates & Thank Yous: The deck, picnic tables and deck furniture cleaning are all about done. We will be rebuilding the 4 steps going from the deck to the porch the week of 6/21 so be careful around that construction area. We want to give a big THANKS to Lowrey Reynolds, Nancy McDonald, and Ben Brown for their help with those projects. Also another THANKS to Joe Hertzler for more tree trimming. You can now see the creek and the dock from the deck!
Upcoming Projects in July: We have two more projects scheduled for July. Repairing the deck and back drive landscape lights and finish the power washing of the pool deck along the diving block areas. We really need someone with electrical skills to help us figure out what is going on the landscape light. If you have that expertise, please let Mike Gordon know by Texting 303-264-8782.
Without VOLUNTEERS. we will never get these yearly projects completed! Please watch your emails for upcoming projects that NEED YOUR HELP to complete, plus you get to laugh with your neighbors. It takes the whole village to keep our wonderful neighborhood being great!

Financial & Administrative Reminders
2026 Member Dues: KPC requests that all dues be paid in full before the start of the pool season (which was the end of May). If you are unsure if you have paid your dues, please reach out to the treasurer at kpwilliamsburg@gmail.com.
If you have received an annual dues invoice and no longer wish to be a member of KPC, please notify us at kpwilliamsburg@gmail.com so we can update our records.

The Kingspoint Club, Inc. oversees our community’s recreational property on Northpoint Drive. This waterfront site includes a beautiful clubhouse, neighborhood pool, picnic area, dock, and a children’s play area. The KP Club operates the pool and clubhouse and organizes neighborhood social events for members. Membership in the Club is optional for residents, and includes use of the pool, boat ramp and dock. Members may also rent the clubhouse and pool for social events. Membership is required to attend some Club sponsored social events. Non- residents may also pay annual dues to use the pool and the clubhouse. For more information or to join, contact KPMembership@gmail.com.

Do you have young kids and are looking to connect with other parents in the neighborhood? Consider joining the “Little Dolphins” GroupMe. It’s a network of parents in the neighborhood. It’s a nice way to meet parents in the neighborhood with similarly aged kids (coffee date anyone?), and to help arrange playdates (heading down to the pool?) or share other vital information (lemonade stand pop-up!) Advertising Policy
The advertising policy for the News from the Club is as follows: business related ads are $25/edition or $260/yr. See this website for additional information: https://www.kingspointclub.org/advertisers. We can provide an invoice if necessary.
Small ads of one or two sentences from Club members’ children are free as a community service to all Kingspoint Club members. Children may be of elementary, middle, and high school age or college age to place an ad.
